The big question and speculations about who will win the IPL 2012 came to an end with the spectacular win from KKR at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai.

It was enthralling to watch the nail biting final IPL match between CSK and KKR with both the teams at their best. It was the Chak De moment for KKR when they won the final after a wait for five long years. CSK won the toss and choose to bat first. The quality batsmen and equally good bowlers from both the team gave a tough fight to each other. M. Hussey and Murli Vijay played a good opening innings from CSK. At the end of 10 overs, CSK were at 86 for no loss of wicket. Just in the next over, Murli vijay lost his wicket to Shakib Al Hassan on the bowl of Bhatia. Suresh Raina replaced Vijay and he played a good partnership with Hussey and scored 73 runs by facing just 38 balls. CSK total score was 190/3.

KKR had drastic opening as the Captain, Gautam Gambhir lost his wicket to Hilfenhaus on 6th ball of 1st over. However, as the team seemed to be determined to win, Jacques Kallis and Manvinder Bisla took the charge and played a superb partnership. Bisla played fabulously well and scored 89 of just 48 deliveries, he was declared Man of the Match. Jacques Kallis scored 69 of 49 balls, his score made the team reach at a comfortable score. Nine runs were needed in the final over. Manoj Tiwari won the match for KKR in style by hitting a boundary in the 2nd last ball. The score was 192/5. With that the final ended in a memorable way. It was truly a great finale for the IPL 2012 lovers.
